CFER Calls Out Union $$$ in CUSD Campaigns

According to the Californians for Equal Rights Foundation, “In addition to local unions, some (Carlsbad Unified School District) candidates even raised money from unions in San Francisco.”

The Foundation stated that CUSD candidates have received $41,763 from unions. That amount represents 46% of all campaign funds for the school district.

According to one observer, “Education is about kids, not union interests. We need to throw the bums out, including teachers with the wrong attitudes, weak trustees, and administrators there for the money. It’s time to bring the power back to the parents and students.”
